Three years ago the “refugee crisis” was big news. It doesn’t hit the headlines quite so often now – but that doesn’t mean it has gone away.
At the church meeting on July 22nd Dominique Nientker of Human Aid in Greece (HAIG) will be giving us a short presentation on the situation of refugees in Europe today, what HAIG does to help them live a humane life, and what HAIG has and can do with our church as it’s partner.
Come and listen to Dominique’s experiences of helping refugees in France, Greece and here in Amsterdam today. She’s a great speaker and has up to date information on the situation refugees are facing.
The meeting will last about half an hour and will start after tea/coffee around 12.00/12.15 pm.
