Greetings to you all!
You may have seen the prime minister, Mark Rutte’s press conference last Tuesday when he extended the current partial lockdown and suggested that this was likely to continue at least until December. So there is no change for now in what we at the church are doing.
Infection rates are still high and it is best if we minimise risk by continuing our live-stream but largely congregation-less services. I do hope that you are managing to access these OK. Speaking of live-streamed services, I thought you might like to know that tonight (Friday) I am going to the Scots International Church in Rotterdam for the induction of their new minister, Rev Graham Austin. Their previous minister, Derek Lawson, who was there for about 4 years, left at the beginning of the year and it is great that they have a new minister so soon.
The Scots Church in Rotterdam is our nearest Church of Scotland neighbour and we occasionally do pulpit exchanges or visit one another’s churches. I will pass on the greetings of our Church at the service tonight.
Below is the weekly programme. Please note that Sunday this year falls on All Saints Day, and that will be the theme of our service on Sunday. I would remind you that it is also Holy Communion and you might like to have a piece of bread or biscuit and some wine or juice handy so that you can share in this from home.
The programme for this WEEK: below:
Sunday 10.30, live- streamed service
The service will be led this week by Pastor Lance. Sunday is All Saints Day and our passage is Revelation 7:9-17. It is a service of Holy Communion so please have some bread and wine or juice of you wish to share in this. You can access the live-stream at 10.30 HERE.

Psalm Reciting (this week – Psalms 135-143). For now we are not holding this at the church. Some of us will be doing this from our homes at 8.45 on Tuesday morning – you might like to do this too, or at some other any time.

In a time like this, there may be people who feel especially in need of prayer either for themselves or for someone else. There is a small group of people in the congregation who take it in turns on Sundays to be available after the service to pray for anyone in need – so, if you would like prayer or have a particular prayer request please contact Margaret Richards on email@example.com and she and the others will pray accordingly.
A word about finance….
Please note that in this period when we are not meeting together there is a way of giving to the church on this website. Please use the PayPal donation button on the right.
God bless you all and keep us united as a church family – and safe and well.
Please remember too that it is our custom to take up a collection for the Mulanje Mission Hospital in Malawi on Communion Sundays and you are invited to make a donation through the website.
