What are -files?

The code used to create these pages (HTML) cannot maintain all of the original formatting and presentation of many documents, and is not intended or suitable for printing.

Portable Document Format files are self-contained cross-platform documents. In plain language, they are files that will look the same on the screen and in print, regardless of what kind of computer or printer you are using and regardless of what software package was originally used to create them.

Although they contain the complete formatting of the original document, including fonts and images, -files are highly compressed, allowing complex information to be downloaded efficiently.

To read -files you will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.
